dre pedemonte is a senior at the george washington university studying english and journalism and working at planet forward as their social media and communications intern. as a first-generation peruvian-american college student, she is passionate about completing her studies in our nation’s capital. while she looks forward to the exciting year ahead, dre never forgets her roots, being raised in a large and lively family in northern virginia. she speaks english, spanish, french, and russian (and is currently on the track to learn italian). in her free time she loves to play her parlor-sized breedlove guitar called joplin, named after her favorite musician.
